Houston Style Magazine caught up recently with Meagan at the Project Beautiful Me event in Houston. Meagan talks about her role with the organization and several others that she is affiliated with. Plus her role on Deception and her upcoming movies Anchorman 2 and Think Like A Man, Too.

This will be the three time the two actors have worked together, first on the comedy Love Guru with Mike Myers, then Think Like A Man and now the sequel. This is also Meagan's third film with actress Gabrielle Union.

Essence Magazine held their annual pre Oscar Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon.

The Honorees included Gabrielle Union, Win, Alfre Woodard, TV writer Mara Brock Akil, Naomie Harris and Quvenzhané Wallis, the young Oscar-nominated star of “Beasts of the Southern Wild" and Oprah Winfrey.
